Does all this mean that Europe was wrong to let itself become so tightly integrated? Does it mean, in particular, that the creation of the euro was a mistake? Maybe.

Why doesn't he just come out and say it? ;) But it seemed like a good idea at the time!

Will this send the euro tumbling? (Fingers crossed - it's not long to the Easter Holidays.)

He seems to be saying that the integration is out of kilter - either less economic, or more political, integration is needed to deal with the current situation.
